What is Olighttube?
Olighttube (SIA “Olighttube”) is a Latvian brand from Valmiera that designs and handcrafts lightweight cylindrical interior elements from natural wood veneer and microcement: ceiling lights, pendant lights, wall lights, coffee and side tables, poufs and seats.
Where are Olighttube products made?
All products are handcrafted at our own production facility at Cempu iela 8c, Valmiera, Latvia. Because each lampshade is made by hand from natural wood veneer, the grain is unique and no two pieces are exactly the same.
Which materials and finishes are available?
Wood veneer pieces are available in natural oak, white oak, dark oak, black oak and walnut. Microcement pieces are available in carbon, dark gray and light gray.
What sizes do the lights, tables and poufs come in?
Ceiling and pendant lights come in diameters of 16.5 cm, 21 cm and 31 cm. Wall lights come in 9 cm and 21 cm diameters. Side tables and poufs come in 31 cm and 41 cm diameters, and pedestal side tables are available in heights from 35 cm to 65 cm.
What is the difference between a lampshade with and without a diffuser?
A lampshade without a diffuser gives brighter, more direct light, which suits kitchens, kitchen islands and home offices. A lampshade with an acrylic diffuser softens and evenly distributes the light for a cozy, ambient glow.
Can I choose the cable colour and hanging height of pendant lights?
Yes. Pendant light cables are available in black, white, dark brown and light brown, and you can choose from hanging height options of 100 cm, 150 cm or 200 cm.
What bulbs do the lights use?
The lights work on 220–240 V, 50 Hz and use LED bulbs only, up to 12 W. Bulbs are not included.
Do you ship outside Latvia?
Yes. Within Latvia we ship with Latvijas Pasts (flat rate €3.50, free for orders over €100) or FedEx express. International orders are shipped with FedEx or Latvijas Pasts; the exact cost is shown at checkout. For non-EU destinations, import duties and VAT are paid by the buyer.
How long does delivery take?
Latvijas Pasts delivers within Latvia in 1–3 business days and internationally in about 5–10 business days. FedEx delivers next business day within Latvia and in about 2–5 business days internationally. Orders are dispatched within 1–2 business days, and you receive a tracking number by email once your order is dispatched.
Can I return a product?
Yes. Return requests must be made within 30 days of receiving your order by emailing info@olighttube.com. Items must be unused, in their original condition and in the original packaging. See our Rules and Policies page for full details.
